Voor je het weet is de zomer hier (…) en weer voorbij en mogen we in het najaar helegaar los op een pak aan heavy festivals. Zo’n beetje ons favoriete dagfestival is Soulcrusher in Doornroosje Nijmegen. Daar gingen we al drie edities hard op acts van Yob, Deafheaven, Inter Arma, Mayhem en Dodecahedron tot Ufomammut, Monolord, Conan, Oathbreaker en Voivod. Van hevig stonend en doomend tot intens blackened spul dus.
Soms valt er zoveel muzikaal lekkers te vinden over de hele wereld, zo ook hier bij NMTH, dat het overzicht op Nederlandse bands nogal eens verloren gaat. Since it’s first inclusion as a venue in various festivals in Tilburg, het Patronaat has become a loved venue for all. Not just for Roadburn, but also for Incubate, Netherlands Deathfest and many other events the venue played a vital part.
