Het is nog niet eens 2020 en de festivalvoorpret verspreidt zich al als een winterse griep. Man, de afgelopen 48 uur was het gekkenhuis met de aankondigingen! Even rustig! Want niet alleen kwam Graspop met een nieuwe reeks namen vlak na het bevestigen van headliner Faith No More, maar ook in Nederland was het vanmiddag overvol met de aankondigingen voor Jera On Air, Into the Grave en Dokk’em Open Air.

Since it’s first inclusion as a venue in various festivals in Tilburg, het Patronaat has become a loved venue for all. Not just for Roadburn, but also for Incubate, Netherlands Deathfest and many other events the venue played a vital part. The primal movements of the earth can be felt when Bismuth plays its second set at the Ladybird Skatepark at Roadburn 2019. Slow, purposeful drone doom, delivered with a mantra-like repetition over a fundamental groundwork of drums by Joe Rawlings.
