Afgelopen weekend was het weer zover: Into the Grave vond plaats op het vertrouwde plein van de Oldehove. En hoe! Hoewel er aanvankelijk veel kritiek was op de line-up en het gebrek aan headliners, is Into the Grave steevast een van de gezelligste metalfestivals van het land. Het heeft gewoon wat: zo midden in het prachtige centrum van Leeuwarden drie dagen herrie. En hoewel er genoeg te klagen valt over de prijzen van eten en drinken tegenwoordig, evenals het koude weer, is Into the Grave nog steeds een van de weinige metalfestivals die voor slechts 100 euro excl. camping drie dagen metal aanbiedt. Enfin: de volgende editie staat alweer gepland op 13, 14 en 15 juni in 2025, dit keer op een locatie die nog even geheim blijft.
