Yes! We are finally here again! Planet motherfuckin Roadburn! Whoohah! With NMTH, we will completely immerse ourselves in the coming days in the violent glory of what we can regard as simply the best place on earth possible. With this year an even bigger warm-up party on Wednesday in the Green Room of 013, called Ignition: Roadburn 2019 Pre Show. Goddamn, it is so nice to be here again.

Three bands perform today: Great Grief, Hellripper and Temple Fang. And we will be focussing on the last one: the Amsterdam based Temple Fang, which NMTH and Roadburn will be presenting on Saturday (1.30 PM) at Hall Of Fame.
Talk about unimaginable: no record, no recordings and nothing that the wealthy bourgeoisie could expect in advance to justify sitting in the hot-seat as opener of Roadburn, but all contradictions aside, this could be the most bizarrely perfect opener possible. God almighty. In a powerhouse set of almost epic stadium proportions, the foursome takes the ramshackle hall by the spiritual hand to Planet Roadburn.
In a totally unforced, unpretentious manner, the foursome sets the bar high as masters of their craft and set the pace of what is – most likely – going to be a more than memorable festival. A fucking nice trip this is. A trip that, by the way, attracts a lot of people, since literally almost no-one can get in anymore. Next years Ignition on the Main Stage then? Anyway, what a smoker-like and ecstatically tasty pot of sonic mantra porn! Fortunately we will be seeing – no experiencing – them again on Saturday …
